As spring is here, and the weather has actually been sunny here in the UK, I've changed my makeup up a little. I've been opting for a fresh and pink look or a a more bronzed kind of look over the last few weeks.I took inspiration from Eleanor Calder and Ebony Day as their makeup is always pretty, natural and glowing. I thought I'd do a post about a few of the products that I'm using and maybe give you guys a little inspiration.
As I've recently ditched foundation to clear my skin up a little, I've been using my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer on any blemishes, redness or my undereye circles. Even though I still have the odd breakout, my skin has been much clearer and isn't as dry as it used to be. I switched my Nivea moisturiser for the Clean and Clear Morning Energy. It brightens the skin as it has a slight shimmer and it gives you a really nice glowing kind of effect, and I've been reaching for it a lot when I'm getting ready for school.
As far as cheeks go I've completely changed the products I'm using. I recently bought the Sleek Face Form kit and I've reached for it since. I use the contour shade to give my face a little defenition and I absolutely love the blush in the palette. It's a really pretty pink with gold reflects and it makes you look much more awake and fresh. I didn't really use highlighter much in the past but I really like how it gives a really pretty glow to my cheek bones and lifts my face.
If I'm not using my Sleek palette, I'm reaching for my Collection Mosaic Bronzer. It has three different shades, a pink, a brown and a coper shade and I just swirl my brush in it and apply to my cheeks. Like the Sleek blush it makes you look more awake and sun kissed.
As for eyes, I've been using my MUA Undress Me Too palette, specifically the shade 'Shy'. It's a champagne colour and looks really pretty all over the lid and in the tear duct area, it brightens the eyes and makes you look more awake and fresh. I've also been using the purple-y mauve colour from my Natural Collection duo in 'Mink/Sable', I use it in the crease to give a little more definition and it's softer than a brown.
I've only been applying a small amount of eyeliner lately, as it makes my lashes look fuller and it doesn't smudge as easily as a thicker line does. I've been up using the Collection Extreme 24 Felt Tip Liner and the Revlon Lash Potion mascara which gives me long and voluminous lashes.
For lips I've either been using the Rimmel lipstick in '006 Pink Blush' on it's own as it's a simple pink colour and compliments the Sleek blush nicely, or I've been using another Rimmel lipstick in '250 Birthday Suit', which is a bronze nude colour and applied Natural Collection's lipstick in 'Rose Petal' over the top, which is a peachy colour. I've been wearing this combination a lot recently as it's simple and compliments my skin tone nicely.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and again I'm hoping to be blogging a lot more now.
Rhiannon
