Small Haul

Hello everyone!
So today I went shopping with my best friend. We went to Boots and H&M and ended up spending abit of money...

I firstly picked up a few items from Collection, I purchased 'Jade's lipstick' from the Little Mix Collection (£2.99), it's a really pretty nude-y pink shade which I thought would be really nice for the day time.

I then picked up the 'Mosaic Glow' bronzing powder, I've really been into bronzer recently as it gives my pale face a little colour so I picked another up to try out (£2.99)

As Collection were doing a free Super Size mascara if you spend £5 or more I ended up with another mascara.

As I needed a new foundation my friend recommended the Rimmel 'Stay Matte' liquid mousse foundation, so I thought I'd give it a try. (£5.99)

I also reached for the Rimmel 'Scandaleyes' waterproof tick and thin eye liner in black, because I've been into eyeliner with a small amount of eyeshadow, so I wanted a decent eye liner. (£5.49)

I've been dying to get a 'Balmi' lip balm for a while and it was reduced from £4.99 to £2.00 so I thought why not. I bought the mint flavour, I just can't deal with how cute this is.

Lastly I bought the 'ecotools fresh and flawless five piece complexion set' for £11.99 because I've wanted to try ecotools brushes for ages.

I then went into H&M and bought a pack of two small bracelets. One has little birds on it and the other has 'oxox' on it for £3. I just thought they were really cute.

I also found a really cute silver origami style bird necklace for £2.

So that was all I bought. Hope to start blogging a lot more. Bye guys! :)

Colours of the Rainbow Tag

Hello people!
I thought I'd do a quick little tag today as I haven't had much to time to update as I'm up to my eyeballs in Welsh revision, but the show must go on! ;) (that was so cheesy)

RED:

Soooooooo since it is now autumn and all the reds and greens come out I've reached for this MUA nail polish in 'Fever Red' for a while. It dries insanely fast, has a creamy formula and doesn't chip for a good 2-3 days.

ORANGE:

I recently bought the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Set (Boots £21.99) and I've been in love with them ever since! They're REALLY soft and I've definitely seen a difference in my makeup since using these. (I apologize for how dirty they are in this photo! SORRY!)

YELLOW:

I can NOT go a day without this stuff! It works alot better than Vaseline and any other lip balms I've tried. It's just amazing.

GREEN:

I've bought so many of these. I love all the Original Source shower gels but this is my favourite. It's Mint and Tee Tree scent is really calming and refreshing when I use it. Love love love it!

BLUE:

Spoken about this in my last post, but it really is an amazing spot treatment. I recommend to anyone looking for a cheap spot treatment that actually works.

PURPLE:

I've worn this perfume everyday since I got it back in August for my birthday. Its not too girly or teenagy, I think any age can get away with it, and it's not to rich and dark like Chanel perfumes. It's and everyday fun perfume for any ages, with notes of vanilla in it. Highly recommend it!  And the bottle is really cute to display too. :)

PINK:

My hands are dry all year 'round and since I started using this my hands are no longer dry, it smells great and is nice and cheap.

MULTICOLOUR:

MUA's Undress Me Too palette has a lovely range of colours and are really pigmented. I love this palette as I can whip it out and create a number of looks with the colour range. Definitely recommend this palette!

Sooooooo I hope you guys enjoyed that, I will try to start posting more often ( when I'm not revising). There will be a few fashion and nail art posts up soon too!
Goodddbyeeeeeeee! :)

Skincare Favourites

Hello again my beautiful readers, :)

I thought I'd do a skincare post today because I've gotten into taking care of my skin alot more now, so let's get started.

Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Wash

My mum bought me this in year 7 or 8 and I've loved it ever since. It's really creamy and light on the skin. It isn't rough but leaves my skin feeling plump and fresh. It gives a really deep clean unclogging pores and removing dirt, oil and make-up, and I have noticed it clears up any blemishes (with the help of another product I'll list in a second). I have normal to dry skin and I find this doesn't dry out my skin, unlike other face washes that I've tried.

Clean and Clear Morning Energy Skin Energising Daily Facial Wash

I know, I know, another Clean and Clear product, but their range is amazing! Anyway, I use this in the shower rather than in the morning, as I find it a little drying on my skin. But don't let me stop you from using it in the morning! Unlike the other face wash this on has tiny little bursting beads, ex-foliating your face and giving a deep clean.

Superdrug Coconut Oil

I got the idea of using coconut oil as a cleansing balm from Gemsmaquillage on YouTube. It cleanses my skin getting rid of any left over make up after using wipes. I then rinse if off with warm water, leaving a little oil on my face to soak into my skin over night, giving my skin a little moisturise. Definitely recommend you try this!

 Nivea Moisturising Cream

I've tried the Nivea Soft moisturiser and yes I loved it, but again my skin tends to get a little dry, so I switched over to this moisturiser. It's amazing, it's really thick, so I just warm it up with my fingers before applying. Since using this I've found my skin doesn't dry out any more. Love this stuff.

Witch Blemish Stick

This is the only thing that works! Its not the most sanitary product, it's like a little glue stick, so when you use it on a spot the bacteria is then on the product. So I use a cotton bud and swirl it in the product and then apply to the spot. After you apply it, the spot starts to sting, which I (weirdly) like, because I then know it's actually working. And it's upper dupper cheap! :) Just go buy this now!

Soooooooooo, that's my skincare favourites wrapped up. Let me know about your favourite skincare products! Love you Lots, like Jelly Tots!

What's in My Makeup Bag?

Hi eyeryone!

Extremely sorry I haven't posted in over a month, I've been super busy and haven't really been inspired to post anything. But I'm back! Let me know what type of post's you'd like to see in future!

I thought I'd begin with a what's in my makeup bag post, as its quick, easy and who doesn't love a good nosey into someone els' makeup bag eyy! :)

Rimmel 25 Hour Lasting Finish Foundation (100 Ivory)  & Collection 16 Hour Wear Lasting  Perfection Concealer (1 Fair)

Now I know I've spoken about these two before, but honestly I can't replace them. They both work perfectly for my skin, covering my hideous dark circles under my eyes, redness around my nose and any blemishes I may have (a few have been popping up recently *sigh*)
So I definitely recommend these two products to anyone!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (1 Translucent)

I haven't been using this long, but I love it! It keeps my foundation and concealer in place all day, and keeps that shiny look away (not attractive!) I think this will be a repurchase when I run out.

Sleek Blush (Pixie Pink)

Again, I've spoken about this before, but I really do love this blush! Especially for school, where I'm waking up early and looking like a zombie. It gives a fresh a flushed look, making your face appear brighter and more awake. And the pigmentation is amazing!

Constance Carroll Eye-shadow palette (2 Everyday Classics)

I don't love these eye-shadow's as they fade after an hour or so, but I've been using the darkest brown in the palette for my brows. My eyebrows are basically invisible, so I have no choice but to fill them in. So when I use this eye-shadow with an angled brush my brows look fuller and more defined.
(I use a dark shadow as I have blonde hair, and you're supposed to go 3 shades darker than your hair colour if you have light hair)

17 Wild Metallics Eyes Cream Eye-shadow (Wild Nude)

I never really used cream eye-shadow's before, but I saw this one and was eager to try it. It's a beautiful bronze, its a little more orange which brings out the blue in my eyes. Surprisingly its doesn't crease on my oily eyelids, its actually lasts a good few hours.

MUA eye-shadow (Shade 1- Pearl Finish)

This cost me a pound! A pound! The pigmentation is insane for that price! It's a beautiful champaign colour and has a gorgeous pearl finish. I really like using this in the inner corner of my eye and on my brow bone to lift and brighten my eyes. I definitely recommend MUA's single eye-shadows!

MUA eye-shadow (Shade 19- Matte Finish)

Again the pigmentation is insane for only a pound! I love using this dark brown shadow in my crease as it creates a darker area, making my eyes look bigger. GO BUY A SINGLE MUA EYE-SHADOW!

Maybelline The Rocket Volume Waterproof Mascara (Black)

Yes, I've also spoken about this product in the past. It gives amazing volume and length, doesn't clump, and lasts all day. Amazing mascara.

Nivea Lip Butter (Rasberry Rose), Maybelline Baby Lips (Cherry Me and Pink Punch)
and MUA lipstick (Shade 16)

I usually stick to one lip colour, but recently I've been changing up my lip products. My most used (and now holy grail) products are definitely the Maybelline Baby Lips, I nearly have them all but I reach for Cherry me (orange and red packaging) and Pink Punch (pink and yellow packaging). They're moisturising and leave a subtle tint of colour to your lips. The Nivea Lip Butter is VERY moisturising and I can't go a day without using it. The MUA lipstick is an orang-y pink colour and is quite natural when on the lips.

I hope you enjoyed having a quick peak through my makeup bag...Remember to give me a few ideas on future posts! :)

Much Love
